Blogging. For those of us who love it, blogging can be expensive! There’s always a new course, new strategy, new something to try. And generally, all things blog-related aren’t cheap. You can spend quite a bit of money learning, experimenting, and masterminding. And those personal development costs don’t even begin to include the day-to-day cost of keeping your blog up and running. So let me save you a few bucks. I’ve found 20+ free blogging resources: courses, downloads, podcasts, and blogging resource libraries to boost your blog growth.
20+ Free Blogging Resources

Free Blogging Resource: Downloads & Printables
A great free blogging download or printable generally teaches ONE solid skill or gives one piece of usable information. To access the free content, there’s usually a place to input your name and email address. Some creators make the content immediately available and others email you the information a few minutes after you request it. If you don’t get your free blogging resources, make sure to contact the creator.

I learned about Jon Morrow, from Smart Blogger, many years ago when I first started investigating Blogging. I read every email I got from him. At one point, I think I probably would have followed the man off a bridge, if he said he would help my blog grow. This download of 52 Headline Hacks is a great cheat sheet if headlines stump you. Plus, he explains how to write headlines that go viral, and we could all use more of that.
Paul Scrivens from Billionaire Club offers this free 12-Day Blogging Bootcamp. I just found and joined this boot camp today. 17. Pinterest planner.

Her Pinterest Planner provides free instruction, scheduling, and management tools to help you conquer your Pinterest profile and start benefiting from the power of Pinterest traffic.
Free Blogging Resource: Podcasts
I have two little kids and I run an online business. As you can imagine, I don’t see a lot of grown people. So, I’ve fallen in LOVE with podcasts. It’s an opportunity to learn and get to know an online personality in another setting. Sometimes, it’s as close as I get to an adult conversation. If you know of any additional business or blogging podcasts I should check out, let me know. These free blogging resources are available on iTunes.
Kim Anderson has a great podcast for bloggers to keep you consistent and motivated. She calls her podcast Just Keep Blogging because that’s her anthem, her peace stick, her moto. No matter what happens, whether someone copies your content or Pinterest changes their algorithm (gasp!), she’ll be the first to tell you, “Just Keep Blogging.” It’s a great podcast. I listen to her as I write.
19. Naptime Empires.
Nikki Elledge Brown is the host of Naptime Empires. She’s not a blogger; she’s a business owner who helps entrepreneurs tighten their copy. And who needs tight sexy copy? Bloggers! Nikki’s podcast, Naptime Empires, is a sanity saver. She’s completely honest about her struggles as a mom and a rockstar business owner. Plus, she’s super generous with tips, resources, and just plain old compassion. I listen to her because it’s just nice to know that I’m not alone in this mom + business den of snuggle-typing-chaos.
Pat Flynn is the host of Smart Passive Income Online Business And Blogging Podcast. I’ve just started listening to this podcast and Pat is so generous with his advice and all the tips he gives during his show. Sitting down to listen to Pat’s show is like going to class. I learn something new every time.
Free Blogging Resource: Resource Libraries
A resource library is a list of amazing resources a blogger either created or recommends. Below I’ve listed some of my favorite resource libraries for bloggers. In these resource libraries, you’ll find free courses, downloads, podcasts, and tools that you can use for your business.
Co-schedule creates great content for anyone with an online presence. My all-time favorite co-schedule freebie is their 180 Power Words For Writing Emotional Headlines.
The Blog Stylist has a great searchable database to find great resources for your blog and online business. I searched for only her free resource list; you can look for whatever you want.
Hubspot is best known for their CRM, but they release a bunch of great free content to help not only their customers but anyone wanting to learn. Their resource library is geared toward anyone using a blog to generate business leads. My favorite free resource from Hubspot is their Data-Driven Strategies for Writing Effective Titles And Headlines.
I’ve personally checked out all of these free resources and they’re legit. Each of these freebies provides some great information for new and more experienced bloggers. Checking out these freebies is a great way to get to know some of these online personalities.
You never know who may become your next online (or in person) mentor. A lot of these folks offer paid courses and programs that you won’t ever know about unless you get their emails. So, while you’re taking advantage of the free blogging resources, also take a moment to get a feel for the person behind the email. If you like them, stick with them even after the free resource is complete.
Can you recommend a few free blogging resources that are NOT on this list? Let me know in the comments and I may update this list to include.
